Karate Kid

Max finally got to move up from a solid white belt to a white belt with a yellow stripe...the first step in becoming Master Clardy! Let's just say that Max is not super enthralled with karate, but he has persevered (so have his parents) and we couldn't be more proud. This past Wednesday was the official "changing of belts" ceremony.

This picture cracks me up because Max looks so fierce and like he's really into it...not the case but sure glad I caught this moment to fool you!

My strong boy broke the board in two pieces!

We met my family at Texas Roadhouse after karate...good sweet tea, yeast rolls, and good ole' country music playing in the background...my kind of joint!

Now Jennifer, you might have waited another year before you put Max in karate and he learned to kick and break things (i.e. 2 little helpless babies that are coming in a few weeks). He does look ferocious in those pictures. He is TOO CUTE in that outfit.

Your family all looks great as usual. The Dunn family CANNOT take a bad picture. If your Texas Roadhouse is the same Texas Roadhouses we have here....I LOVE IT!!!! Although I can do without the twangy country music. Do you eat the peanuts while you wait?
