Easter party

I've been meaning to take a picture of the twins in these sweaters and I finally remembered to get my camera out before we left the house yesterday. Inger's mom made these for the twins and I LOVE THEM!!! I never bought them coats so they have worn these all winter and get so many compliments on them. Thanks again Inger...you and your mom rock!!!
Check out Abe's teeth...looks like a little bunny rabbit!Max's Easter party was on Friday. They had an egg hunt and lots of other goodies. He had been looking forward to this party all week long and was so excited when he woke up Friday morning. Oh, and remind me not to volunteer to fill eggs with candy next year...I have eaten so much dang Easter candy it's not even funny. By the way, the Nestle eggs with caramel inside are scrumptious.I brought chocolate chip cookies on a stick with a bunny on them. I was up all night making them....HA HA HA HA HA!!!I love this picture. It's all the boys in Max's class. So cute!

So now we're heading into spring break week and the weather is looking great...80 on Friday...woohoo!!!

SPRING!!!

Yikes...I haven't posted in over a month! What is wrong with me? Not too long ago my husband would have told you I was addicted to my computer, but things sure have changed around here. Could it be these two 9 month olds that are taking up all my time???

Today was a gorgeous day and I've heard tomorrow is going to be even better. I put a blanket on the grass and the babies LOVED being outside. Oh goodness, I am so ready to have weather like this all the time. Aunt Rea and Clay came over too!Can I just tell you that the babies LOVE their big brother?!?! Lane will especially get so excited when she sees him - kick her legs really fast and squeals - it's so cute!I will tell you that last weekend was probably one of the worst of my life...seriously. The Clardy house was hit with the dreaded stomach virus and it was absolutely horrible. It started Wednesday night with Max throwing up in his bed, in our bed, in the bucket, etc. and then ended on Sunday with me doing the same thing. In between me and Max I was dealing with two babies throwing up and having horrible diapers. I gave Abe 5 baths on Saturday and he still had horrible diaper rash. I felt so sorry for him. I have a new daily prayer...Lord, please let that nasty bug never get in our house ever again!

This picture was taken right before Max went to bed and then woke up several hours later covered in nastiness. You may be wondering what Don and Max are doing. Well, Max has to do leg stretches because he walks on his tippy toes pretty much all the time. So, while they're doing leg stretches Don will read to him to keep him entertained. So cute. The next morning. Max was so sick he could hardly talk...it was pitiful. I had them on the floor because I was changing the sheets on the other beds. And here are just a few random pics of the babies. The first is my sweet Lane. She's finally getting more hair so I think a bow is in her future. Oh, and her eyes are still blue...so strange because Don and I both have brown eyes.Handsome Abe. He left that puff on his face forever. How do you not realize you have something like that on your face? And Abe got his first boo boo. He pulls up on our brick fireplace all the time so we knew he would eventually fall. Poor little guy skinned his nose.

So that's it for now. It's 8:45 and it's getting close to my bedtime. Those babies sure are cute but boy do they wear me out!
