If you're 3 months old today please raise your hand!!!

It's hard to believe these babies are that old. I can remember having 3 months left of my pregnancy and it went by sooooo slowly...why did this go so quickly? By the way, how about their coordinating outfits? A girl I use to work with at Deloitte also had boy/girl twins several years ago and she sent me a ton of coordinating clothes. I'm talking clothes from Gap, Pottery Barn, Gymboree, etc. You will be seeing some C-U-T-E stuff on these kids in the near future!
Quick, get the camera...Abe is happy! Poor guy. I'm making him sound horrible and he's really not as fussy as I guess he could be. In this picture he's showing you only half of a smile. When he smiles big it covers his whole face and is the cutest thing ever!

If all babies were as content as Lane then I think I could have actually handled triplets! This child really only cries when she wants to eat, is tired, or has a dirty diaper.

I haven't mentioned this, but there is a possibility that Abe may need surgery on his head. Check out the below picture and notice how his forehead protrudes. I had noticed it and was going to ask my doctor at our last appointment, but the doctor actually noticed it first. He wants to wait a month, recheck him, and if it hasn't changed then we will take him to a neurosurgeon. Our pediatrician thinks the sutures may have closed too early which will not allow his brain to grow properly which in turn could cause other issues. Has anyone ever heard of this happening?

Since the twins are now 3 months old I thought it would be nice if I finally finished up their room. It still needs a few things here and there, but here's what we have at the moment. This is Lane's side of the room. She gets to sleep in her big brother's old crib and bedding.

And this is Abe's side. Poor thing...looks a little bare, doesn't it? Oh well, he's a guy and guys don't care about those types of things, right? I must admit that I'm loving my A & L monogram wall decals that I got
HERE. I'm sure my crafty friend,
Nikki, could have made these but there's not a creative bone in my body. Nikki, what do you think, could you do it?
Inger, do you recognize those cute little sweaters and booties hanging from the hooks in the below picture? Love them so much!!! And those little brown shoes are courtesy of the Reber sisters...just waiting for Abe to grow into them...they're so adorable. I also had a baby picture of me framed and also framed a sketch of Don that was made when he was a young tyke. Oh, and my friend, Sally, made those shelves for Max when he was a baby. She did such a great job painting them - love them too! Wait, one more thing...that green trunk is probably one of my favorite things in my house. It was Don's grandmother's and when she was being moved into assisted living they had a garage sale at her house. Well, I saw this trunk and loved it...it's a great shade of green and I love that it belongs to Lane's namesake.

And since I'm giving a house tour, I thought I would show you Max's new room. It's kind of got a western theme going on. Again, still a little bare but we have plenty of time to clutter it up. The bed and dresser in his room are the same ones Don used when he was a little boy.

I was framing like a mad woman several months ago. I've had the football and golf pictures of Don just sitting in a closet and decided they would look really cute in Max's room. The box with the baseball glove and picture was given to us by Don's parents several years ago. The picture is of Don and his brother, Bryan (hence Max Bryan Clardy), and they're holding the same glove that is next to the picture. It means a lot to Don since his brother passed away in 2002. By the way, I didn't tell Don I was having these things framed and that I wanted to hang them in Max's room. I ended up having to talk him into it because he was embarrassed...he didn't want it to look like a shrine to him. HA HA!

And this is random but for some reason made me really laugh. Max and I were eating dinner tonight and all of a sudden Max starts this conversation:
Max: Mommy, I saw a commercial and it said that Fruit Loops are now healthy to eat.
Me: Why are Fruit Loops healthy?
Max: Because it said Fruit Loops now have healthy fiber in them.
And that was the end of our conversation. He just went right back to eating. And guess what, apparently Fruit Loops do
have fiber in them now. Do commercials target our kids or what?!?!?
