I saw the package sitting by my garage door yesterday and was so excited because I knew it would be goooood...and it was! The suspense was killing me...
Check it ALL out!!! Seriously, I definitely think she went over budget on this.

And of course Miss Angela didn't forget Max! She must know that Max loves flashlights and anything that glows in the dark because she got him a pumpkin flashlight and glow in the dark toothpaste. Thanks Angela...he loves it! He takes both in our downstairs bathroom and shuts the door so it's really dark. I guess he's just in there looking at them...whatever makes him happy. :)

Scott and Andrea have always believed in conservatism and feel passionate about teaching those values to their children, Lily and Clay. As you might imagine, there aren't a ton of children books or reading material out there that teach solid, conservative values. So, Andrea and Smitty went to work and wrote a book that would do just that! The book has now been published and is now for sell at 
The boppys are coming in really handy here lately. When you first lay them down they will just look at each other and smile. It's adorable!
She is so sweet.
I started to take a picture of Max and he did this. He told me since he always blinks in pictures he wanted to make sure his eyes were open.
Here's my sweet Abe. I think I saw a little bitty white spot on his gums tonight (and it felt a little sharp) so maybe some of this fussiness is teething related...let's hope so. 
Seriously, how cute is this? Lane was watching Star Wars with him.
Max has just recently gotten more interested in the babies. I think it has to do with the fact that they will smile at him whenever he talks and plays with them. Abe especially smiles and laughs at his big brother. 
Chips Ahoy cookies...the entire bag spread out between 1 maybe 2 days. Now, this could be Jamie's fault because she brought a yummy cookies and cream dessert to us after the babies were born. I'm not lying - I have probably made this 10 times since then, but it also got me addicted to these cookies too. Jamie, my thighs thank you.
And this next item was also a result of a meal that was brought to us by Carey who is a sweet girl in my Bible study (hi Carey!). She brought this great chicken parmesan and also a package of Cole's garlic bread...I had never had it before but it is the BEST garlic bread out there (got to get the toast - not the loaf)! And for some reason I now feel the need to serve it with every meal or for a quick snack.
Now, I actually combine the next two things and at first glance you're probably going to think it's a pretty healthy snack. Think again. Have you ever checked out the amount of carbs in granola??? Well, let me tell you it's A LOT but this stuff is like candy to me...so good. By the way, I use the vanilla flavored yogurt.
Again, the next thing seems like it wouldn't cause one to gain weight. But, for me, I can't just drink a Diet Dr. Pepper by itself. Nope, need to drink it with something slathered with peanut butter, maybe covered in chocolate, or something crunchy and salty.
So, I feel like I need to address this health issue of mine immediately before it gets out of hand. So, starting on Monday (because you can't start on any other day) I will begin treatment for this problem of mine. I'm going to need your help...if you see me and I have one of these items in my hand (or mouth) please tackle me and take it away immediately. But since it's still Saturday, I've got to go downstairs and get a cookie...
It's hard to believe these babies are that old. I can remember having 3 months left of my pregnancy and it went by sooooo slowly...why did this go so quickly? By the way, how about their coordinating outfits? A girl I use to work with at Deloitte also had boy/girl twins several years ago and she sent me a ton of coordinating clothes. I'm talking clothes from Gap, Pottery Barn, Gymboree, etc. You will be seeing some C-U-T-E stuff on these kids in the near future!
If all babies were as content as Lane then I think I could have actually handled triplets! This child really only cries when she wants to eat, is tired, or has a dirty diaper.
I haven't mentioned this, but there is a possibility that Abe may need surgery on his head. Check out the below picture and notice how his forehead protrudes. I had noticed it and was going to ask my doctor at our last appointment, but the doctor actually noticed it first. He wants to wait a month, recheck him, and if it hasn't changed then we will take him to a neurosurgeon. Our pediatrician thinks the sutures may have closed too early which will not allow his brain to grow properly which in turn could cause other issues. Has anyone ever heard of this happening?
Since the twins are now 3 months old I thought it would be nice if I finally finished up their room. It still needs a few things here and there, but here's what we have at the moment. This is Lane's side of the room. She gets to sleep in her big brother's old crib and bedding.
And this is Abe's side. Poor thing...looks a little bare, doesn't it? Oh well, he's a guy and guys don't care about those types of things, right? I must admit that I'm loving my A & L monogram wall decals that I got 
I was framing like a mad woman several months ago. I've had the football and golf pictures of Don just sitting in a closet and decided they would look really cute in Max's room. The box with the baseball glove and picture was given to us by Don's parents several years ago. The picture is of Don and his brother, Bryan (hence Max Bryan Clardy), and they're holding the same glove that is next to the picture. It means a lot to Don since his brother passed away in 2002. By the way, I didn't tell Don I was having these things framed and that I wanted to hang them in Max's room. I ended up having to talk him into it because he was embarrassed...he didn't want it to look like a shrine to him. HA HA!
