37 weeks...almost 37 1/2!

We're still cooking! I had my last doctor's appointment this morning which was just one more thing to cross off my list before these babies are born. My c-section is still planned for this coming Tuesday, June 16, at 2:00 PM. I will admit I've been feeling some different things over the past two days so there's still a chance they could come anytime. But at this point I'd prefer to wait until Tuesday so I can get up, take a shower, shave my legs, put some makeup on, and head to the hospital with as little stress as possible. I'm taking my computer with me so either myself or someone else will update our blog as soon as possible. Not counting today only 4 more days...HALLELUJAH!!!

I took these pictures on Monday - the 1st day of my 37th week.

Oh, several people have asked about names. We think we have the girl's name finalized but the boy's name is still up in the air. We'll let you know what we've decided on Tuesday!

Max + Mud = HEAVEN!

This is what Max has been doing 3 to 4 afternoons a week for the past month...plays in his own personal mud pit! Unfortunately, our landscaping leaves much to be desired so we've allowed him to make one of our flower beds into his dirt and mud playing area. It's his favorite thing to do right now and he will play as long as we'll let him - I sit in my chair watching him so it works well for my situation too! Last week I sat outside with him for two solid hours and he completely entertained himself the entire time. When he's done I spray him down with the hose which is another 10 minutes of pure bliss for him...he screams, runs through the water and thinks it's the best thing ever. But, what boy doesn't love playing in the mud and water!

He gets the hose and "makes mud"...he has to "make mud" about 10 different times so who knows what our water bill will be like this month!

Then he plays with his trains...

Makes some mud patties...

Bakes some mud cakes...

And then it's back to turn the water on and "make more mud!"

I LOVE my dirty boy!!!

8 days...but who's counting?

All three of us are still here in one body...barely. Only 8 more days left until my scheduled c-section and I seriously don't know if it can get here fast enough. I will whine a little in this post and say that each day gets harder than the one before. I can't really walk far without things really hurting so I tend to not walk much. Putting my trusted black pants on has become something I dread because it also really hurts to lift my legs up - what's up with that? Okay, and baby boy literally climbs up into my rib cage the second I lay down in bed and it feels like his elbow is digging into my ribs. The past 3 nights I have been up from 2ish until 5ish...just hanging out, surfing the net, using the bathroom for the 100th time, etc. So, am I a Debbie Downer or what??? Sorry. At least you're not my husband who has to live with me! :)

But, June 16 is my sister's birthday and I will persevere so that I will never have to buy her another birthday gift...seriously that's what she told me...not a bad deal to me!

Hope everyone has a great week!

By the way, I'm off to watch the season premier of Army Wives on Lifetime. Did anyone watch that last season? I thought it was pretty good so we'll see...
